Katelyn Galloway is an award winning makeup artist and photographer for film and television and founder of Austin Makeup & More. She has devoted her life to the study of the arts, and worked as an oil portrait painter before moving to Los Angeles to study beauty and special effects makeup at the prestigious Make-Up Designory. Her work is heavily influenced by her background in traditional painting and she uses her knowledge of color theory, highlight, and shadow to give every client a flawless complexion and every shot a refined composition. She has explored all facets of the industry and her work can most recently be seen on HBO's The Leftovers and ABC's American Crime. She loves educating, and is the author of How the Hell to Wear Makeup: A Makeup Artist's Guide to Putting Stuff on Your Face. When makeup artist Brooke Hampton graduated from high school, her mother asked her, "What do you want to do now?" She said makeup. Her mom said "go to college." After she graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, her mother asked, "What do you want to do now?" She said makeup. She trained with and worked for high artistry brands such as Estee Lauder and Mac, while honing her skills on countless shoots. Her passion for makeup spans all platforms and her experience includes bridal, editorial, runway, portrait, and film work. Creatively collaborating with clients and producing a look that makes them feel beautiful for any occasion is her specialty. She is a wonderful addition to the Austin Makeup & More team!
